Grand Master Terry Faircloth's Bio:
Instructor Sifu Joseph Clarke (Deceased)
Began training under Sifu Joseph Clarke in the Ch'uan- Fa branch of Kajukenbo (Emerging Center) from 1978-1983. In early 1981, Sifu Clarke relocated to Florida when GM Faircloth was a Green Belt. At this time, Sifu Rick J. Winkel continued training GM Faircloth promoting him to Brown Belt, and then to the rank of Black Belt in June 1982. After promoting him to Black Belt Sifu Winkel had to step away from Martial Arts to pursue business opportunities. Six months later in 1983 Sifu Clarke came back up to Washington State and promoted him to 1st Degree Black Belt. He then opened a school and began teaching full time.
1983-1998 studied Wun Hop Kuen Do with Sifu Al Dacascos learning privately his street concepts. Promoted to 4th Degree Black Belt in Wun Hop Kuen Do by Sifu Al Dacascos in 1993.
1985-1995 trained in Arnis/Kali with Dave Bird Sensei.
1988-1991 attended Aikido training with A. Hydoshi Sensei in Phinney Center.
In 1994 he created all new forms and street defense utilizing open concepts and theories and being unfixed in method.
In 1994 he was invited to demonstrate his method of Kajukenbo in front of Sijo Adriano D. Emperado, Ahgung Tony Ramos, and SGM Sifu Al Dacascos. Soon after, the Faircloth's Method of Combined Arts was born with Sijo Emperado's blessing.
Promoted to 8th Degree Black Belt in Ch'uan-fa/ Wun Hop Kuen Do by SGM Gabe Vargas and SGM Al Dacascos in 2012.
Promoted to 9th Degree Black and title of Grand Master in Ch'uan-fa/ Wun Hop Kuen Do by SGM Anthony Hemenes and Grand Master Bob Heuer on August 15, 2021
Grand Master Faircloth has been featured in 6 different martial art magazines on Street Defense.
Inducted into the Masters Hall of Fame in 2013.
